Scaling STEM is part of the STEM Council Lecture Series, a partnership between the STEM Council and MIT. It exhibited current K-16 education projects developed by MIT faculty and students, and shared MIT’s Task Force on the Future of MIT Education. Scaling high quality STEM education is a challenge to improve access to current education technologies, including on-line and blended-learning models, and support engagement and active learning. This not only reflects the STEM Council’s mission to promote Massachusetts workforce development opportunities, but also MIT’s goals to provide higher quality education to the rest of the world.
